HIRE AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please ensure that the terms and conditions for hiring are read and understood before a deposit is paid, as payment will indicate that you agree to the terms and conditions.

For the purposes of this document the following titles will be defined.

Hirer – Saass Metal Design ABN: 97140360171

Client – Person/s who signed the below document and who have hired products from the Hirer for a fee

Products – All items hired by the client from the Hirer

Hiring Rates
Hire rates are ONLY for the hiring of products and not for any other services. Any other services agreed upon will be deemed separate to this agreement. Prices as quoted includes GST with delivery charges being additional. Charges quoted are for daily hire only.

All hire fees are payable 1 week prior to delivery of goods unless otherwise arranged. Acceptable form of payment is bank deposit ONLY.

Bond
A security bond will be held by the Hirer until the safe return of all products in the same condition as was hired out to the client. All bonds will then be returned to the client minus any fee incurred for breakage/damage and/or clean ups. Security bond if refunded will occur within 24 hours of pickup.

The amount of bond held will be $250, which will be paid via bank deposit and returned in the same manner.

Payment
To secure the booking date for products to be hired by the client, the client agrees to place a 50% deposit with the Hirer. Balance for hire products is due one week prior to delivery. Payment is to be made via direct transfer only. We DO NOT have EFTPOS facilities on site. Any other form of payment must be stated by the Client and accepted by the Hirer prior to the deposit being paid.





Cancellations

Cancelations are to be placed in writing/email only. No verbal cancellations will be accepted to minimize any misunderstanding.

Any other cancellation outside of the above agreement shall be at the discretion of the Hirer. Orders cancelled will forfeit 100% of deposit paid. All changes or removal of items from booking can only be made 2 weeks prior to hire date. Additions can be made at any time subject to availability.

Insurance
As soon as the products have been delivered & received by the Client from the Hirer, the Client assumes all responsibilities and liabilities until collected by the Hirer.

The Client is responsible for maintaining all appropriate policies of insurance, covering liability, property and casualty insurances in amounts necessary to fully protect the Hirer and their products against all claims, loss or damage. The Hirer is not responsible for any injury that may occur to persons over the hire period or thereafter due to any products supplied by the Hirer whether through payment or otherwise.

Loss or Damages
All products supplied by the Hirer shall always be deemed owned by the Hirer.

All products are supplied to the client on the bases of reasonable use within the advertised context.

Should any product/s become lost, stolen or damaged when in possession of the Client, the Client shall immediately notify the Hirer. The Client agrees to pay for all products lost, destroyed, stolen, damaged or not returned to the Hirer. All costs will be paid to the Hirer based on the current pricing and availability of the products on the market. Should no equal product be found by the Hirer then the Client shall reimburse the Hirer the cost in cash or bank transfer at the cost said by the Hirer. All reimbursements shall be paid within 48hrs of the drop off of all products and maybe subject to late fee/extension fee if overdue.

Photos

The Client consents to allow the Hirer all advertising or artistic showing of any photos supplied for the purposes of advertising by the Hirer whether for profit or not.

GRAPHIC DESIGN TERMS

Commencement of work

Client must agree to pay a 50% deposit or in full for the quoted amount before we commence any design project. Balance must be made in full prior to delivery.

Please note that once research, resources & proofing has commenced, the deposit is non re fundable. Saass endeavours to provide design services that meet and exceed a clients needs and expectations.

Approval of Final Artwork

While Saass takes all care to avoid error's, it is the Clients responsibility to proof read and approve all final artwork/s before print production commences. No refunds or reprints are given after a final approved design has gone to print.

Print - Colour Variations

With all printing there may be some colour variations from what you have seen on screen to what the final product looks like, this is due to the nature of CMYK printing. We use industrial grade printers and aim to deliver the best quality print. Please understan that when purchasing digital downloads from us, we have no responsibility with how your print turns out.

Design Alterations

Saass gives the Client 3 attempts only to make minor changes to artwork.

Design Templates

The client agrees to allow Saass to showcase any/all work created in the course of a project. ie:social media, portfolios, advertising.

Custom Design Rates

Saass charges $40 an hour for any custom design work. ie: logo design, flyer design, posters.



Postage

Postage will be quoted as per quantity and location. Saass shall not be liable for any failure in delay with delivery companies. We ship worldwide.
